Always a hugely popular course, offering the opportunity for wind players to study and perform ensemble music from the 18th-21st centuries, with professional coaching by leading tutors. Each player will study four works over the weekend.
Please contact the Jackdaws Office to check on the availability of places before booking, as an Ensemble Course a balance of instruments is required.
Course Information
Courses take place at Jackdaws in Great Elm, 3 miles outside Frome in Somerset. If you require B&B, we will book it on your behalf. Accommodation fees are payable in addition to the course fee.
A £50 deposit is required to secure your place on this course.
The Course Fee includes all meals, refreshments and tuition at Jackdaws, except breakfast, which is included in the separate B&B fee.
Lunch and dinner will be prepared on site by our dedicated Cooks and served in accordance with appropriate social distancing measures. If you are vegetarian/vegan, or have a food allergy, you must let us know in advance, so that our cooks can plan the meals for the weekend accordingly. We are ‘allergy aware’, but we rely on participants letting us know if they have specific food allergies. Please also let us know if you carry any emergency medication.
