Arts Award

Arts Award is a Ofqual regulated qualification run by Trinity College, London which provides a framework for young people to learn and develop their creativity and leadership skills. Qualification from entry level (Bronze) up to level 3 (Gold).

Arts Award is a great qualification to incorporate as part of a project.

Awards & Certificates in Musical Development

Awards & Certificates in Musical Development (ACMD) is a regulated qualification framework that recognises musical attainment and progress from Entry Level 1 to Level 3, as set out in the ACMD specification.

It enables learners to be assessed through their engagement in music-making, in the classroom, studio or community setting.

ACMD is particularly valuable where traditional graded exams are not yet appropriate or not the right fit for an individual candidate.

Please note there is a cost to taking  Arts Award & ACMD qualifications which varies depending on the award and there may be project and administrative costs to add as well.

Arts Award Supporter

As a supporter of Arts Award, Jackdaws offers activities that young people can use to help them achieve their Arts Award, such as:

  • workshops, like our Music Club or Summer Production or Explore the Arts Week
  • arts and cultural events which they can review – such as our concerts and performances
  • opportunities to find out about artists and cultural opportunities from our tutors and visiting musicians
  • a chance to share skills or lead arts projects during our various projects
