Jackdaws is dependent on financial support from a wide variety of sources. The donations generously given by our supporters are a vital part of this and we are very grateful to all those who support us. If you would like to help Jackdaws in its mission to provide music making opportunities for musicians of all ages and abilities, please consider becoming a Friend or Patron of Jackdaws or making a one-off donation.

We would be delighted to speak to you about any of these ways of supporting our work. Just call the office to speak to someone about how you can help, on 01373 812383.

Join our Patrons Club

Jackdaws’ brand new Patrons Club is a small group of Friends who support Jackdaws’ work with young people, by donating £1,000 a year or by pledging a legacy, to support future development of new projects. Patrons help to ensure that Jackdaws can continue to give young people the very best experiences at the start of their musical life. Patrons gather once a year for lunch and a concert at Jackdaws to celebrate the work produced each year.

Legacy

Donating through a gift in your legacy is a wonderful way to provide Jackdaws with security and a foundation for our valuable Education work.

You can donate a fixed amount or contribute a Residuary legacy after your Pecuniary endowments have been provided for. As Jackdaws is a charity, your donation will be taken off from the value of your estate before Inheritance Tax is calculated (and even reduce this rate if you donate more than 10% of your estate to charity). Speak to your lawyer to append a Codicil, a small legal document, to your existing will to donate.

If you include a donation to us in your Will, please let us know so that we can thank you personally.
