Year of Flute

2019 is Year of Flute with the Tempest Flute Trio!

Tempest will visit local schools with Jackdaws in February 2019, to give a whole school performance and a workshop with a smaller group of children. Workshop musicians from all schools then join together for the Grand Finale performance on Tuesday 26 March at Frome’s Cheese & Grain.

Now into its seventh year, Jackdaws Award-Winning large-scale education project “The Year of…”, sees a different international classical musician or ensemble working with schools in Somerset to spread their passion and enjoyment for music.
