Violinist Madeleine Mitchell is a Professor at the Royal College of Music, experienced in teaching all abilities and ages. She has given numerous master classes including Dartingon and most recently at Wells, Benslow and Jackdaws.
Her special interests include good body use and general musicianship. She has performed worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician for many years in a wide repertoire. Her discography includes the popular Violin Songs, British Treasures, works written for her by well known composers as well as Messiaen with Joanna MacGregor.
She was Gold Medallist at the RCM and Fulbright/ITT Fellow to the USA studying with Weilerstein, DeLay and Rosenberg.
