Work with extraordinary Venezuelan pianist, Elena Riu, who will gently lead you through whichever repertoire you choose to bring, but as Elena is a specialist on Spanish and South American composers this repertoire is particularly encouraged. You will be specifically working on the use of tone production and harmonic colour to enlarge your emotional vocabulary. Part of the weekend will focus on reducing performance anxiety, integrating some simple yoga, relaxation and visualisation techniques to improve your playing and benefit the ‘whole person’.
