Come and Sing is organised annually by Frome Voices in aid of Jackdaws. Every March, a large community choir is pulled together to team up with the Frome Symphony Orchestra to perform an oratorio or masterpiece from the choral repertoire on limited rehearsal.

Handel’s ‘Saul’

Rehearsals start Friday 13 January then every Friday (except 17 February for half term).
Performance: Sunday 12 March, 7:30pm at the Cheese & Grain, Frome

The event is organised by Olivia Date, Jane Talbot and Alan Burgess, who formed Frome Voices in 2012. Since then, they have performed The Armed Man, Elijah, Handel’s Messiah and Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle, Carl Orff’s magnificent Carmina Burana and in 2017 Handel’s dramatic oratorio ‘Saul’.
