ENTRIES ARE NOW CLOSED
We have made some changes to the way we do the Vocal Awards in order to make them possible in these challenging times with a focus on supporting young artists development.
The preliminary round will be a video recorded round. It is open to singers aged between 22-30 and all applications will be accepted. There is a significantly reduced application fee of £10 and a reduced repertoire requirement. The repertoire for the preliminary round will be an aria/song by Handel and a song from an approved list by Peter Wishart for which there will also be recorded accompaniments available. You may only sing one of these Peter Wishart songs.
6 singers will be chosen by the panel to take part in the final to be held in the Lehane-Wishart Studio at Jackdaws on Saturday 9 January (supported with accommodation and a travel bursary).
Applications can be made on our website from Monday 2 November until the closing date Friday 11 December. Only complete applications will be accepted and must include your video recording.
