Singing and Imagination
Ameral Gunson
Friday 3 – Sunday 5 October 2014
Course No. 3111
Accompanist: Marion Lea
Level: Advanced
Fee: £200
Solo Study Course
Singing is an activity first and foremost of the imagination, of us being alive imaginatively to the music, the drama and the poetry.
We will work to try to ‘hear’ the sounds in our imagination before we sing, and anticipate how the resonance will ‘feel’ to keep us engaged when not actively singing. Bring three pieces in English and one ‘prop’ to help stimulate your imagination.
