Bassoon Weekend: From Reed to Recital

Whether Solo or Ensemble, explore the diversity of the instrument, from reed to recital. Working with Robert, experience playing in tutored ensembles: from duets to octets, developing sight-reading and enjoying the sheer exhilaration of working together. Many aspects of bassoon technique will be examined and explained: from reed adjusting to fingerings and tackling those tricky passages.
Explore the art of musical interpretation in solo performance; an experienced accompanist will focus on repertoire for bassoon and piano.
The course will end with an informal concert.
A £50 deposit is required to secure your place on this course. The balance of fees, including accommodation, is due 3 weeks before the course start date.
