Friday 20 October – Sunday 22 October 2017
Course No. 3254
Solo Study Course
"Truly expressive singing requires a strong technical basis." So says Russell Smythe, professor of singing at the Royal College of Music, who can help you build strong vocal foundations during this weekend course.
He will introduce ideas to show you how to work on good physical alignment, appoggio breathing, balanced phonation, and clean resonation, all of which are fundamental for keeping your voice strong and healthy to promote greater expressive potential.
Please prepare two pieces from the classical repertoire.
