It’s an exciting time at Jackdaws, as we see our long-cherished plans to create a new music studio finally come to fruition.
Our builders arrived in the middle of July, the week before our busiest course of the year (the hugely popular Chamber Music course). Blessed with fantastic summer weather, Paul and his team have made great progress and we can now see the shape of the new studio emerging from its foundations. We hope that the building will be complete and ready to use by Spring 2019.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who contributed to the 20Jackdaws Appeal which, when added to the legacy funds we received from our founder Maureen Lehane Wishart, have enabled Jackdaws to fulfil her dream to create a congenial and practical space in which all who come to Jackdaws will be inspired to bring music to life.

The New Facilities
Our weekend courses continue, as usual, during the building period, and we hope that the many participants on Jackdaws Courses will continue to study here and join in the excitement as the studio takes shape. If you would like to contribute to our building fund (we still need to raise funds for landscaping and equipment for the studio) please visit our Support Us pages for information on the different ways you can support Jackdaws to become a truly inspirational music centre.
