Explore the Arts WeekExplore the Arts Week is for children aged between 7 and 12 who want to spend their half term week with Jackdaws, exploring, learning and discovering music and the visual arts with our DBS checked staff.
We will be joined by visiting artists from the fields of music and the visual arts, who will show us their skills and invite us to try out their art form for ourselves. Ask them questions, gain top tips and have fun while you’re at it!
Throughout the week we will record our journey in our log books, which we will submit as a record of our activities and the exploration journey we have been on, to gain our Arts Award Explore level*. These will be returned to you once they have been externally moderated.
Arts Award Explore is a recognised Entry Level (Entry 3) qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). There are no prerequisite qualifications. Jackdaws staff are trained to deliver Arts Award and DBS checked.
Do you know a young person who wants to create, participate, and be inspired by the arts? Or a child who wants to communicate using the arts and who would benefit from learning more? This week is for them.
