Gillian Poznansky

Gillian Poznansky studied with Clare Southworth, Douglas Townsend, Simon Priestly and Nicholas Vallis-Davies. With pianist Mark Tanner, Gillian performs regularly on cruise liners. In 2009 she gave her Wigmore debut, accompamnied by Mark. Their CD of music by Graham Lynch was editor’s choice in International Record Review and PAN Magazine and is regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3: ‘expertly played’ – Gramophone Magazine. Gillian, Mark and international cellist, Ricahrd May, recently gave a chamber recital in St George’s, Bristol. Gillian is mentor on the CTABRSM course and teaches flute, both privately and at Falmouth University. She examines A level performance, composition and history for OCR, Edexel and the IBO.
