Situated on the banks of the Mells River in Great Elm, two miles outside Frome, Jackdaws provides a beautiful location for a variety of events and activities including concerts, workshops, meetings and awaydays.

The main space, the Lehane Wishart studio was completed in 2019 and offers a wonderful setting for small concerts and recitals. As a concert venue, the hall seats up to 50 people and also houses a Steinway Grand piano. The room is also a marvellous education space for workshops and classes, and provides a tranquil, undisturbed venue for meetings or awaydays. The main studio and a number of smaller rooms can also be hired for private practice or for groups of musicians who wish to rehearse together.

Jackdaws has an in house team of friendly and helpful cooks who can provide catering as required. They specialise in tasty freshly prepared food and wonderful cakes!
