The main course focus will be 'French Baroque Repertoire for the Recorder" and will concentrate on ornamentation and interpretation.

Players are to bring two contrasting solo works which they would like to work on which can be anything (relevant to the subject of the course).

Suggested pieces include Suites by Dieupart, Hotteterre, Caix d'Hervelois or Sonatas by Philidor, Blavet, etc.

We will work in a 'masterclass' set- up but there will also be opportunities to play in consorts and to explore other repertoire. A keyboard at A415 will be available.
