BEGINNERS COURSE ON FLUTE        Ability  &

Thursday 22^nd April starting at 6.30 p.m. with supper
to Sunday 25^th April finishing at 4 p.m. with tea

These few days will be used primarily for playing.  There will be some instruction on breathing and posture and we will have time to play with piano.  There will be discussion about nerves and performing for others.  We will also do as much group playing as possible – introducing the alto flute and piccolo.

Bring along anything that you would like to play. 

Lisa Nelsen has performed as soloist and given Masterclasses throughout the world.  She is principal flute for several chamber groups both here and abroad, and teaches at Wells Cathedral School and the London College of Music.  She also coaches for the National Youth Sinfonia and the National Children’s Wind Orchestra.
